Job Introduction
Do you have experience of securing high value funding from trusts and foundations? We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Development Manager to join our Programmes fundraising team and raise funds from trusts and foundations.
Working with the Head of Programmes and colleagues from across the organisation you will seek out new funding opportunities from trusts and foundations to support Tate’s core programme of activity including exhibitions, learning and conservation. You will actively lead and manage relationships with trusts and foundations taking a holistic approach from initial engagement and research, preparing fundraising proposals, making asks, and cultivating donors to provide the highest level of stewardship, project management and reporting on the outcomes and budgets.
You’ll have proven experience of fundraising or relationship management to secure gifts at the four-five figure gift level, while delivering an outstanding level of donor stewardship and maintaining a network of contacts. You will be an excellent communicator, skilled at organising yourself and others and a compelling writer. With a keen eye for detail, you’ll be motivated to achieve targets, develop strong relationships and provide bespoke stewardship to a range of donors
