Job Introduction
The collection and partnerships team work in collaboration with Tate Modern Curatorial and Tate Britain Curatorial on researching and building Tate's Collection, collection displays and delivering loan exhibitions. The Tate Collection is a public lending collection with art works on permanent view at Tate sites.
You will provide PA support and diary management to the Director of Collection. You will also play a critical role in ensuring the smooth-running of the office of the Director and the wider team.
You’ll have proven experience of working in a PA role in a complex organisation and hold excellent administrative and interpersonal skills with proven experience of organising meetings and diaries and filtering and providing information for senior colleagues.
You will act as the first point of contact for the Director and support the Director in managing relationships with senior Tate stakeholders, both internally and externally. Your flexible and proactive approach to work, with strong attention to detail, will enable you to prioritise and proactively manage multiple and changing priorities.
This is a newly expanded team and a professional, experienced and trusted PA with excellent timekeeping and attention to detail is required for this position.
The role is primarily based at Tate Modern, with an expectation of onsite working. The core hours are 9am – 5pm.
