We are looking for an enthusiastic & creative Sous Chef to join our Production and Corner Cafe kitchens!

This position is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Our ideal candidate will be reliable, consistent, and able to work flexible hours over a 5-day week including weekends. We're looking for a chef to help develop seasonal dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients, that are full of flavour. The role is an exciting one and is suitable for someone with experience in high-volume cooking in production kitchens or who is looking to move from a busy restaurant environment to a kitchen without the pressure of service but wants to work in an exciting company that produces food and products to be proud of. We work very closely with fantastic suppliers, and regularly showcase the very best in British meat, fish, and vegetables to produce bright, fresh, seasonal dishes.


Desired skills and experience

  • Positive attitude and a leadership mentality.
  • A full understanding of stock control, ordering, minimising waste and maintaining or raising the profit margins on food.
  • Experience managing a team of chefs.  
  • A great knowledge & practice of food & hygiene safety, carrying out due diligence, temperature control checks. 
  • Level-headed – stay calm and focused in a busy work environment. 
  • Great teamwork & communication– work with each team member to deliver a great service experience every time.
